Rekrt is operated by Lumetric Labs LLC, a Colorado limited liability company based in Parker, Colorado. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We keep it in plain English because we believe you should actually understand what you're agreeing to.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, school or organization, and role (e.g., head coach, assistant). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

Program data: Information you provide about your coaching program — sport, division, conference, roster needs, recruiting preferences, and program profile details.

Usage data: Pages you visit, searches you run, players you view, boards you create, and features you use. This helps us improve Rekrt and provide better recommendations.

Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe processes your payment. We never see or store your full card number. We only store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

Device information: Browser type, operating system, and device type. If you install Rekrt as a PWA and enable push notifications, we store your push subscription endpoint.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and improve the Rekrt platform
• Generate AI-powered recruiting recommendations tailored to your program
• Send transactional emails (account confirmations, portal alerts, billing receipts)
• Send product updates and recruiting insights (you can opt out anytime)
• Process payments through Stripe
• Prevent fraud and abuse
• Analyze usage patterns to improve features

3. Information We Share

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Google Cloud Platform — infrastructure hosting (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage)
• Firebase — authentication
• Mailgun — transactional email delivery
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI-powered features like smart search and fit scoring (we send search queries and program context, not your personal identity)

We may also share information if required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days. Anonymized usage analytics may be retained indefinitely. Recruiting data sourced from public databases (NCAA, 247Sports, On3) is retained as part of our platform database.

5. Your Rights and Choices

• Access: You can view your data in your account settings.
• Update: Edit your profile and program details anytime.
• Delete: Email us at support@rekrt.com to delete your account.
• Email preferences: Manage notification settings in your account, or click unsubscribe in any email.
• Push notifications: Disable in your browser settings or in Rekrt settings.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication (Firebase Auth), encrypted database connections, and Google Cloud's security infrastructure. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

7. Children

Rekrt is designed for coaches and recruiting professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
