Cookie Policy

Effective March 9, 2026

Rekrt uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in and make the platform work. Here's what we use and why.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. They help websites remember things like whether you're logged in. "Local storage" and "session storage" are similar browser technologies that serve the same purpose.

2. Cookies We Use

3. What We Don't Use

Rekrt does not use:

  • Third-party advertising cookies — we don't run ads
  • Tracking pixels — we don't track you across other websites
  • Social media cookies — we don't embed Facebook, Twitter, or other social widgets that track you
  • Google Analytics or similar analytics services — we analyze usage through our own server logs

4. Third-Party Services

Some services we use may set their own cookies:

  • Firebase Authentication — stores session tokens to keep you logged in
  • Stripe — may set cookies during the checkout process for fraud prevention
  • Google Fonts — may cache font files in your browser

5. Managing Cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Keep in mind:

  • Clearing cookies will sign you out of Rekrt
  • Blocking cookies may prevent sign-in from working
  • Your theme preference and other settings will be reset

Most browsers let you block third-party cookies while keeping first-party cookies enabled. Since we don't use third-party tracking cookies, this won't affect your Rekrt experience.

6. Changes

If we start using new cookies or change how we use existing ones, we'll update this page. For material changes (like adding analytics), we'll notify you.
