Acceptable Use Policy

Effective March 9, 2026

This policy outlines what is and isn't allowed on Rekrt. It applies to all users regardless of subscription tier. We want Rekrt to be a useful, safe tool for the coaching community.

1. Use Rekrt for Recruiting and Coaching

Rekrt is built for college coaches, high school coaches, and athletics staff to manage recruiting, evaluate players, and organize their programs. Use it for that.

2. Don't Scrape or Bulk-Export Data

Do not use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated tools to extract data from Rekrt. Do not systematically download player profiles, stats, or portal data for use outside the platform. Manual use of the search and export features within the app is fine.

3. Don't Resell or Redistribute

You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly republish data obtained through Rekrt. This includes player statistics, AI recommendations, fit scores, and portal data. Sharing individual player profiles with your staff through the platform is allowed — that's what it's for.

4. Don't Harass or Misrepresent

  • Do not use Rekrt to harass, stalk, or intimidate athletes, coaches, or other users
  • Do not create fake accounts or impersonate others
  • Do not misrepresent your role, school affiliation, or coaching credentials
  • Do not contact athletes in ways that violate NCAA, NAIA, or NJCAA recruiting rules

5. Don't Compromise the Platform

  • Do not attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access
  • Do not try to reverse-engineer, decompile, or probe the platform's infrastructure
  • Do not introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Do not attempt to overwhelm the service with automated requests (rate limits are enforced)

6. Follow the Law

Use Rekrt in compliance with all applicable laws, including:

  • NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA recruiting bylaws and contact rules
  • FERPA and student privacy regulations
  • Anti-discrimination laws
  • CAN-SPAM and other communication regulations

7. Shared Accounts and Staff Access

Each person should have their own account. Do not share login credentials. Paid plans include staff seats — use those. Organization admins are responsible for managing access for their staff.

8. Enforcement

If we determine that you've violated this policy, we may:

  • Issue a warning
  • Temporarily suspend your account
  • Permanently terminate your account
  • Report illegal activity to appropriate authorities

The action we take depends on the severity and whether it's a repeat offense. We'll try to give you a heads-up when possible, but serious violations may result in immediate action.

Report a Violation
